Reviews of Two Wells, SA
"Country life"
Two Wells has a beautiful little main street with a divine craft shop, five star bakery, friendly and helpful landscape store and a great cafe. Please come and enjoy them! Two Wells allows you to have acreage and also be near the city. If you buy a property plant trees! Don’t cut them down! Let’s make it the greenest suburb in the Adelaide Plains district!
"Asmall town that is ever increasing"
As a past resident of both two wells and Lewiston i would say it is a great place to bring up kids but once they reach high school there is really nothing for them to do. There is no public transport and every activity they want to do is about 20 mins away so be prepared to travel. There is a local primary school, kindergarten and 2 child care centres. There is also 1 local doctor so getting an appointment can sometimes prove hard. There is a chemist, butcher, craft shop, bakery, fodder store and hardware store. There is also a hairdresser, 2 local pubs, 2 pizza shops (1 is dine in) a chicken shop, deli and an IGA all on the main street. Sport on the weekend is a real family affair with football and netball played at the same location around the Adelaide Plains district. Generally a nice friendly town with a mix of young and old. There are a few new developmentment around the area so this is attracting a lot more younger people. Gawler is 20 mins, Virginia 10 mins and Angle Vale about 12min. It takes roughly 45 min to get to the heart of the city and is a good run down port wakefield rd. If you want to catch a train you will either need to go to Elizabeth train station 20min or Gawler or even Mawson Lakes which is about 25min.
Great for
- Nice friendly country atmosphere
- Large blocks of land
- Good local sport
Not great for
- Only fortnightly rubish collection
- No sewrage so all septic tanks
- Can be very hot and windy in summer

Too many hoon drivers speeding and doing burn outs. Its better to stay away from this suburb.
