"A Small Tidy Town"
Windorah......the last stop before Birdsville! With a very clean and green look the town is very tidy in which the locals proud themselves on. The town thrives on tourists during the cooler seasons and especially around Birdsville Races time. Being the last stop until Birdsville (4 hours away) the pub is a must see for a cool beer or has clean and tidy accommodation in either hotel or motel rooms. If your travelling or after somewhere quiet - Windorah is recommended for those that enjoy peace and quiet.
