Beaumont Drive

"Where Neighbours Care"

Beaumont Drive is one of the original streets from the initial Beaumont Hills estate. There is a real sense of caring in this street, not just from the care the residents put into their gardens, but also from the caring relationships they have with their neighbours. It is not uncommon for us to all get together for a BBQ or a New Years Eve party. We enjoy all holiday sna special ocassions from Easter picnics, to Halloween trick or treating, to Christmas displays and meriment, complete with a visit from Santa on Christmas Eve on the back of the Rural Bush Fire Brigade firetruck.

We may not have the views across to the Blue Mountains on this side of Beaumont Hill but we have something even more precious - our caring neighbourly spirit.

This is a wonderful street to bring a family up in. We have our own playground and parkland where you can really kick a ball around. We are walking distance to the school, community centre, shopping centre, bus stops, nature reserves, dams, and each other.

Beaumont Hills

"The Best Position In The Hills"

"The Best Position In The Hills" was the catch phrase for this suburb when it started life as an AV Jennings housing estate, and it is still true today. I have lived here since 1999, a few short years after Beaumont Hills was released to the public. I have seen it grow from an extrememly innovative development which changed the face of modern housing in Australia, to a much sort after suburb for raising a family in. Throughout this growth there is one thing that has remained constant, and that is the neighbourly feeling that exists within this close-knit community. We are all proud of our homes and gardens and the wonderful nature reserves and wetlands that make Beaumont Hills so special.

There is a real sense of tranquility and calmness that is prevalent throughout the suburb, due partly to the serene location where Beaumont Hills is located and partly because the residents are respectful of each other and their privacy. Children happily play with each other in the many natural bush parklands and playgrounds, while parents can relax knowing they are safe and free from harm.

There are many walking paths & bike tracks throughout the area, many in and around the natural bushlands and waterways that abound within Beaumont Hills. And the added bonus is they all connect to each other, so there is always somewhere new to explore. And don't be surprised if we run across a turtle crossing the road while driving to work or walking to the bus stop to catch one of the many buses that service this area.

We breathe fresh clean unpolluted air because we are not situated on any busy roadways. We enjoy lush green lawns where our children and pets can play safely (thanks to the recycled water we have available to us). We enjoy shopping at a large array of shopping centres, from the southern hemispheres most successful retial complex to farmers markets, and boutique villages. Our children have a choice of some of the best schools in Sydney, and the biggest selection of world class sporting facilities of any area in Sydney. Our restaurants are of world class standard, and they are a leisurely drive from our front door. We enjoy the best life entertainment there is to offer, and when we want to have a night in the city we are only 30-50 minutes from Sydney's CBD thanks to the superb motorways that connect us directly with the city. We enjoy living in a suburb that has some of the most spectacular scenery of any residential area, which I suppose is why people come here to have wedding photos taken, or to capture the spectacular sunsets we enjoy every evening when we look towards the Blue Mountains.

We have travelled all over Australia and in most part sof the world, and there is no where else we would choose to live and bring our family up in.

I didn't ever enjoy Beaumont Hills. NOTHING to do but to sit around with housewives and compare how wide their tvs and how big their pergolas are! There is nothing for young people to do but hang around on their bikes. Poor public transport that you don't even feel like you're in Sydney. Small minded-mentality coupled with defensive people all trying to climb to the biggest mcmansion in beaumont hills.
