Minutes from everything Penrith has to offer, Leonay was built around a golf course and is bounded by the start of the Blue Mountains and the Nepean River. Most houses are actually built on the start of the rise of the mountain and the area has masses of Blue Mountain vegetation. It has a real country feel, and the stresses of life disappear as you drive into the suburb, and the pace slows down. Although the suburb was developed in the 60's-70's most homes have been renovated and many extended and modernised.
