I moved to the rural town of Corryong nearly four years ago from Southern California. I was compelled to write this review after standing in line at the local IGA and realizing all the people who were strangers to me a few short years ago are now friends and beautiful acquaintances that I could never forget in this lifetime. Corryong is hands down one of the most welcoming and friendly communities I have had the privilege to call home. Of course there are a few old school mentalities that are not open to newcomers, but the majority are the most delightful and wholesome people you will ever meet. Corryong will welcome you with open arms and embrace you for who you are. From artists to tradesmen and women to farmers and everything in between, there must be something in the water here, because you will find so many talented and honorable folks in this small town.
