Quiet, leafy, roomy, friendly place to live.

A city on the up. We just need growth to be better managed and our history better respected. How the heck does Ipswich rate as low as a 69/100? I have lived in places such as Sydney, Brisbane and North Queensland and they are no where near as good as Ipswich. Great community spirit here, friendly locals, but there is a 'bogan lapper' element. Harmless enough though. Some great established places to eat too. Some fly by nighters have come and gone thinking they can serve up poor quality food because after all, it is 'only Ipswich'. Please, if you are coming here to open a second rate eating establishment, don't bother. With only a small tourist market here, you need local patronage, so bad word of mouth will have you broke in no time. Otherwise, please come, we need more cultures here bringing great food! Great place for kids, plenty of parks and good schools.
