Roberts Road
"leave your cares down on the flats"
Sit outside at night and be caressed by a gentle easterly breeze, smell the wafting fragrance of the marri trees that line most of the street, and form a tunnel-like picture frame of the valley. Take in the silence, and pinch yourself to believe that it only took 35 minutes to drive home from Perth. Great place to walk a dog, or cycle. Bad place to walk a child, due to lack of footpaths, and nearby Canning Mills rd (with cars flying down hill @ 80kmh +)
Get used to honky nuts, you will have them growing out of your ears.
You will also need to become accustomed to spoilt teenagers on trailbikes hooning down the street, which isn't such a bad thing if you like the sound of a red-lining two stroke engine.
