Im from the East and moved to Yarraville in February this year. I do see the apeal but I do also feel a little institutionalised by it now! It feels like the sort of dead end of Melbourne. Im used to Northcote / Clifton Hill / Fitzroy and Brunswick and feel options for entertainment are limited here. You go to the same place for breakfast, same place for the cinema etc etc. I love Yarraville village but after you live here for a while it becomes very repetitive and spoils the apeal a little bit.
I also feel a little vulnerbale and unsafe where we are situated. Yarraville and Seddon are essentially two lovely little towns / villages nestled in some not so nice areas which is a shame.
