Noble Park North

"Under appreciated diamond in the rough"

Have been a resident for 2 years now and now I couldn’t have been in a better location. Bought here mostly due the affordability. You have your occasional hoon in some spots but mostly a peaceful area with young families or older couples. Close to waverley gardens shopping center to both M1 and princes Hwy. good schools around the area which is probably why young families are moving in. Best pockets are the ones bordering Mulgrave, closer to the Shopping center and the cemetery. Houses here can sell around $700K while just 200-300m away is Mulgrave with its million $$ homes. Many families choose to buy older properties only to demolish it and build a brand new home on the plot which is a sure sign of positives the suburb has to offer. Not many dining options but short drive to many local dining precincts like in DANDENONG, Springvale, glen waverley and Clayton. The only downside is the name which has ‘NOBLE PARK’ in it, as many ppl not familiar with the area associate it with its more ill reputed neighbor. But the reality is far from it.

Noble Park

"Has its negative sides but improving steadily"

Lived in the area for 3 years. Was initially hesitant due to its reputation but was very affordable. It has its trouble spots especially near the station , but a lot of recent development has made many families move in which is slowly improving the safety of Noble park. Not many shopping / dining options and schools are just ok except maybe Wallarano primary. Noble park aquatic centre is a highlight of the suburb. Very multicultural area, mostly Indians and Eastern Europeans and some African background. I have seen cops visiting the apartment blocks around the suburb so advise to stay away from those areas. The Harrisfield part of Noble park is probably the best option if you're a young family. Bit far from M1 but pretty easy access to princes hwy and easy link.
