Bellbird Park

"Leafy and quiet yet close to everything"

We bought our family home a year and a half ago and have been very happy living here in Bellbird Park. We have been so pleasantly surprised by how friendly our neighbours are. It is lovely to have so much greenery around, a big yard for kids to play, and birds singing and coming to visit all the time. It is also very convenient being so close to Redbank plains shops, Redbank Plaza and Orion shopping centres. I have never once felt unsafe here, even though we often forgot to lock our car or house, and have no fence or dog. It is also quiet. There are different areas in Bellbird Park which may have different pros and cons, it is important to investigate first and ask the locals. This review is about the higher part of Bellbird Park, near and around Fiona Street. Personally, buying our home in Bellbird Park has turned out to be a great move for our family, and very affordable. Commuting to the city is not so hard being so close to the motorway's entrance and the train station in Goodna. We have also been happy with day care centres around here, we have tried two. I haven't heard negative things said about the 2 catchment schools, Camira SS and the State School in Augustine Heights. A downside is that there are no buses here anymore, however there is the flexilink service, where a cab can pick you up at home for $1-$2 and take you to the local shopping centres or the train station, if you book a hour ahead. Consider moving here, it is so nice to have nature around while not being too far from everything.
