"Lovely street with wiiiiiide roads"
Situated at the "good end" of Kalgoorlie, Lewis Street is a lovely quiet street typical of the Lamington area of Kalgoorlie.
Away from most of the pubs, there are lots of trees and generally it is a great little spot. A couple of good schools are very close by and you are also within walking distance of Hannans shops and a couple of bonza little pubs.
Great for young families especially or young couples who want a bit of peace and quiet.

"Excellent spot to live close to everything"
Bennelong Place is a little oasis. Tucked away in the backstreets of Leederville and adjacent to the park that runs parallel almost the whole length of Oxford Street, this is just a superb location.
I have lived here as a young couple (AWESOME!!) and as a young family and it really suits both. There are retirees in the area and they also love the location. The name of the game in Leederville is tolerance. Let others live their life in peace and quiet and they will pretty much leave you to it. Just be fair to your neighbours!
There are quite a few schools within walking distance so it is great for the younger families and Leederville library (love it!), tafe and of course CAFE 130 (best coffee in Perth) are just up the road so there is something for everyone.
It is a little noisy from the Freeway but hey where isn't this close to the city.

"BUSTLING little metropolis"
The library is a fantastic resource in Leederville, especially if you are studying at the TAFE just up the road.
Loftuis street is close to the train, buses, food, pubs, everything a young person could want really! There are certain parts of Loftus street closer to Leedreville more suited for the younger crowd and then further on towards Mount Hawthorn it gets better for families.
Definitely a good place to live but the other side of Oxford Street is more preferential in terms of noise and lifestyle for families.

"Close to everything but still affordable"
Roberts street is still close to freeway and very accessible to all other areas of Perth without being too pricey. There are a couple of noisy hoons that seem to like that hill on Roberts Street but they are only around every now and again.
There is a great view from the water tower hill and a cute little park with playground equipment for the kids.
