Griffin is a nice new suburb with a good primary school. There are a few stores and amenities like 7 eleven, BWS and coffee shop, gym, medical centre and Brays Park. A supermarket is in the pipeline as well. The closest supermarket is at Murrumba Downs shopping centre.

Close to the North Pine River and a nice spot to take in the ocean breeze at Dohles Rocks. The midges are a problem during the warmer months particularly closer to the river. There have been reports of residents cars being broken into at night in their driveways. There is a good community spirit with residents helping each other out regularly.
