Warwick

"Great place to Live"

I lived in Warwick for my early childhood and teenage years, completed my 12years of schooling, primary at Warwick West school and then onto yr 12 at Warick High.
I worked in the community in a couple of businesses and then married and moved. So I have been out of Warwick for 24years. And now just recently moved back with my 5 children who are now all in their 20s . We love it here. It is a very country town and if you buy locally the best you can you find they respect you and really look after you.
My boys are car and 4wd fanatics and they love exploring the 4wd parks around the area. There is plenty of lovely bush walks and picnic spots and camping areas. The Rodeo brings alot of business to the town and there is always something on whether it's hockey or similar ball games or horse events or even musical events. ( we were intrigued by the jumpers and jazz festival the town goes into full swing 😀
There is a wonderful walk path very nicely designed along the river and has exercise machines placed around the course.
Brisbane and the goldcoast only 2 hours away and Toowoomba only 1 hour away and don't forget Stanthorpe is only 45mins away with some of the countries best wineries and cheeses and fruits in grand supply. Lots of places to visit and things to do.
The housing prices have definitely gone up and still going up. But if you are careful there is still bargains to catch.
I believe Warwick is a great place to live and it doesn't matter what age group you are in.
