"Beautiful location"

Buderim is a beautiful location. Unfortunately it just got too busy for us and we got sick of the standstill traffic every morning and afternoon trying to get our kids to school/activities. The coast is changing and the hinterland is a better pace for us now and many friends doing the same! There are some truly stunning homes in Buderim and very well located for most things on the coast, but it is very popular and therefore getting very busy. There is some snobbery, you’ll hear people asking if you live ‘on’ Buderim, most of them bought their houses well before the boom! You can’t really go wrong with Buderim though, especially if you work from home as traffic wouldn’t be a consideration. It has a good tavern and lots of nice cafes for breakfast. The population tends to be older but also plenty of good schools.

"Best move we have made!"

Ignore the ridiculous review letting everyone know they’ve moved to Buderim! We’ve lived there and it’s beautiful but the traffic is at a standstill in the morning these days! Very happy with our move to Burnside. The hinterland continues to be the place to be. The new estates off Windsor Valley Drive/ Pope Avenue are so peaceful and the developers have done a reasonable job at leaving the trees intact! It’s quiet and mostly families. Love sitting listening to the whip birds!
