"Beautiful heritage suburb"
Truely beautiful suburb with very friendly neighbours. Dining is great, but the area could do with more cafes in general and upgrade of the shopping strip. Small supermarket and great Italian deli's. 5min drive to Five Dock for more shopping options without the hordes or people. Easy access to the city with buses and the light rail.

"Best Inner West suburb"
Beautiful, quiet yet buzzing inner west suburb - has all the pros with very very minimal cons. Easy parking, shops, wine bar, pub, brand new supermarket, restaurants, post office, wine store, hairdressers and homeware stores etc. Great schools in the area, and all modes of public public transport - trains (15min to central), buses and the tram straight into China town, the casino, exhibition centre and the Fish markets. Gorgeous homes with tree lined streets. Once in a while you will get airplane noise but its nothing like Stanmore or Leichhardt. People that live in Summer Hill frequent Summer Hill and its rare to have out of towners so to speak, so its a real bonus and not overly busy with wannabe hipsters. This isn't a "loud" suburb like Newtown, so its more relaxed and chilled -ie, for the "locals" that prefer a more relaxed lifestyle with all the convenience as almost all inner west suburbs are 5-10min drive - the city is 15 min drive.
Great for
- Walk to everywhere
- No thoroughfare traffic
- Beautiful streets and houses
- Public transport
- Village feel
