Even though Quakers Hill is within a stone's throw of Blacktown, I have found it safer than you would think. According to the media, Blacktown area is always number 1 or 2 in lists of crime areas etc. I have lived in 3 different houses in QH over the last 11 years and have never had any trouble. It is the kind of suburb where, if you make the effort to meet your neighbours soon after moving in, you will be rewarded with a secure sense of community spirit. In my 3 houses, I have always made friends and have given and received help often. My children went to school here and have done quite well.
