I've lived in homebush for 5 years. I love how convienient Homebush is close to Strathfield Burwood and all surrounding suburbs, easy to just jump on a train 15 mins and your in the cbd. I love the korean bbq restaurants opening up and asian groseries love there culture. If your into pubs theres alot of great old pubs around.plenty of trains buses makes it so easy to get around, great for children so many selected schools in the area, parks etc. George Street North Strathfield just across the road walking distance is like a small nortan street theres so many great things happening in this area, lots to look forward to.
