Looking for a home in Woodcroft?

"Love where you live at Woodcroft"

Woodcroft is a large suburb around 25kms south of the city & offers quite a wide variety of housing options from entry-level 3 bedroom homes through to high-end prestigious, more expensive properties & even smaller acreages based in the foothills. Woodcroft is very popular with couples, families & even retirees for its excellent facilities including shopping, schooling, medical, sporting, recreational & even entertainment. Having lived & worked in Woodcroft for over 20yrs, it is definitely a suburb I would recommend to others.

"A much loved suburb with all the amenities"

Having lived and worked in the area for the past 20 years, I can honestly vouch for this family friendly area that has a real community feel.
With an array of well respected schools, an abundance of parks, prestigious estates as well as entry level properties, it offers something for everyone.
Prices range from $350,000 - $800,000
Average rent $400 per week

"Family Friendly area really coming into its own!"

I grew up at the top of Bains road on an ostrich farm and attended Woodcroft primary nearly 20 years ago, back before the Woodcroft shops had their major renovations (my dad had the shoe repairer there before they did) and before the Woodcroft skate park existed. It's been fantastic seeing Woodcroft grow into such a sought-after suburb for families and young professionals alike, boasting amazing primary schools, multiple shopping centres nearby, multiple gyms, parks, Thaxted Park golf club and more! You can honestly see why so many professionals and families are either moving here or choosing to stay!

"Nice Place to Live"

I moved to Woodcroft in 2018 after already living in the southern suburbs my whole life and not actually visiting Woodcroft much. I was pleasantly surprised with the area and the easy access to the Southern Expressway as well as the affordable housing (for an area that is not a bad place to live) and the close proximity of shops.

11 minutes from Westfield Marion, but I also have a Woolworths (Woodcroft Plaza) approximately 500m away, or 1 minute drive, which is never busy. I actually didn't know that it existed until I moved here.

25 minutes to the CBD when traffic is quiet.
22 minutes to Mclaren Vale.
50 minutes to Victor Harbor.
Between 13-17 minutes to the closest beaches. Hallett Cove being the closest at 13 minutes and then Seacliff at 15 minutes, Port Noarlunga at 17 minutes etc.

As I said before, the commute to the city is approximately 25 minutes with no traffic but roughly 35 minutes with traffic (leaving at 7:30am) if you know the streets take to bypass South Road and Marion Road before you reach Daws Road. This should improve once the Darlington Upgrade is complete in the second half of 2019, meaning 80km/h speed limits and no traffic lights after Panalatinga Road until after Tonsley Boulevard.

I definitely recommend this place if you are wanting to live in the southern suburbs, as well as the surrounding areas such as Happy Valley and Flagstaff Hill.

Affordable, peaceful and also very centrally located in the south, nothing seems to be too far away.

"Wonderful Woodcroft"

Woodcroft has a great balance of old and new, with prices starting from $250,000 for two bedroom units, $299,000 for a modern villa through to $800,000 for larger homes on stunning acerage.

With schools such as the Woodcroft Christian College and shopping centres the likes of Woodcroft Shopping Centre, not to mention a quick 18 minutes to our fabulous southern beaches, 22 minutes to the famous Marion Shopping Centre, 40 minutes to the city centre and several wineries very close by, Woodcroft makes for a lovely suburb to call home.

"great growing southern suburb"

fantastic suburb with something for everyone. some luxurious ares such as mt hurtle, kings green and woodcroft farm are in the area with large blocks, situated with 4 bedroom 2 bathroom homes for reasonably prices. also includes smaller sub divisions with court yard homes that are close to shops and public transport. very tidy looking suburb with plenty of trees, parks and greenery.
woodcroft shopping centre has a library, banks, supermarket, pysiotherapist just to name a few. plenty of parks and room for kids to be active and enjoy mother nature.
2 golf courses very close by in the Vines and thaxted, both of which are fantastic to play on.
down side to woodcroft is the slow internet access, however that is currently in the process of being improved.
would recommend woodcroft for any families with kids or couples looking to have kids in the future. also a great place for retirees or alternativly 1st home buyers (which i was) due to the great name it has fantastic retail value but without breaking the budget to buy into.

"A newer area really establishing itself as a nice place to live"

Woodcoft is a nice suburb. A lot of people moved from the surrounding suburbs when the area opened up to gte access to a new house on a smaller block. The area is really starting to devlop now and becoming more established.

The blocks are relatively small, like in most new developments but they are still big enough to have a pool if you want one, and have room enough for the kids to play in. The houses tend to be courtyard sized homes with three bedrooms. Plenty big enough for families.

It is well located close to shops and bus routes. Woodcroft also has a number of quite new schools close by that are of a good standard. It is also close to the Southern Expresway making travel north or south an absolute breeze.

Some of Adelaide's best beaches aren't far away, nor is Marion, and Noarlunga Centre and there is a newer Woolworths close by. Still within walking distance is the Woodcroft Tavern and a good range of shops, banks and take away venues including a wok-in-a-box.

There are new playground facilities and parks in the area that are also good for young families.

the down side is the soil qaulity is poor, so if you're a home gardener you'll need to put a lot in to improve it.
