"A beautiful old-style Australian suburb"
A really friendly suburb with a real diversity of people living here. Excellent walking distance to great public and private schools, and now with an early childhood day care centre. Public transport is not great - but it is easy to walk, jog or ride a bicycle into town from here. Very safe - even late at night. This is an Embassy suburb - so be prepared for AFP cruising by regularly. We all love to go to the lake to walk, or feed the swans. Plenty of excellent parks for kids nearby, and it also has the Royal Canberra gold club. Nice hair and beauty salons, doctors, chemists and excellent coffee shops and small restaurants.

"Close to everything in Canberra"
Close to everything in Canberra and full of green spaces.
Lots of places to walk and ride bikes. Friendly neighbourhood. Large turnover in houses recently, suggesting a new generation is moving into the area as an older generation 'move on'.
Great dog park and best place to see wild kangaroos less than 5 minutes from Parliament House.
