Risk of snakes in Brookwater?

We are planning to buy in Brookwater near the golf course,can anyone please advise about risk of snakes and other venomous creatures in the area? Thanks

Yes, Brisbane has snakes. Closer to the river, more snakes

Snakes are fairly rare in the area - if you are on a golf frontage where there is a decent amount of heavy brushland you may get unlucky. Sightings are rare though.
