From the outset, Roger and his team were totally professional. At our initial meeting, we discussed the possibility of a joint sale with a neighbour for the purposes of developing the combined site. Roger went through all the figures in great detail and it soon became apparent that our best option would be to 'go it alone' at auction. From that point onwards, the wheels were set in motion to prepare for the auction. This included a detailed plan of what items to focus on to optimise the outcome (e.g. repairs, internal and external presentation etc.). Every detail was followed up in a pro-active way - i.e. we received regular, timely information on the status of the project (a nice change from your typical 'having to chase people up' situation). Finally, time for the auction. We had already discussed the reserve price. We spoke to the auctioneer and Roger before it started. They described their strategy and I would have to say that, although luck can play a part in the outcome, it was also very much due to their efforts. Thanks very much guys John and Liz
