I live on Guildford road and in the mornings it is very busy at night time some people tend to use the road like a racing track some nights l can hear police sirens throughout the night a stolen car smashed into the bus stop about 6 weeks ago around lunch time it was on 9 news thank God no one was waiting for a bus at the time and now we have lost our bus shelter because of it never mind the road can be hectic at times but l still love living in Bayswater l have the dog park just across the road its a big beautiful park where the river is l have been living here for just a bit over 5 years l won't be moving as l have a homes west place here and be sides Guildford road Bayswater is a pretty, friendly, easy to get to the city and other places my church is very close walking distance .
Very very busy in peak traffic times
There are 2 sections which get congested frequently - the industrial section which is pretty much from King William St to Lord Street (7am and 3pm) and then heading into the city at (8am)
Traffic along Guildford Road can be congested for very short periods of time dependant on peak periods. However the traffic generally flows well.
Pretty busy, have to wait for a dozen cars to go past each time turning out of side streets. Turning right can sometimes be a real problem. At the Garrett Rd/ Guildford lights there is always a lot of traffic. Depends on the time of day, but it is a major access road to the city for a lot of people.
