What is the best primary school on the Gold Coast for special needs kids?

Hi, we're new to the area and have a special needs child. I'm not sure when these posts were dated but if Samuel/Moulds have chosen a school and very happy with the schools special education supports I'd love to know which one, or another recommendation. Greatly appreciated!

The best school with an excellent Special Needs staff and area is Highland Reserve State School

All of the above are great options..

My child (High Functioning Aspergers, poor social skills) attends Guardian Angels Primary School in Ashmore/Southport (catholic education), They have been fantastic with frameworks to help him (and me). They aren't a Special Needs school as such, however have got fantastic support for the families with Special Needs.

There are 4 special needs schools that i know of on the Gold Coast.
Kumbari at Southport
Mudgeeraba Spedial this has a 5 star rating worth a look
Benowa PreSchool Special education school
Currumbin special school

I would be looking into the Southport Primary School and have special needs. My old neighbour across the road had her daughter pick up and dropped off every school day.
