What is the best area of Cowra to live?
Don't want to move to dept. housing area again. Would eventually like to buy there...would you recommend?

Avoid anything around the Cooyal, Victor, Wollowra St area. Jindalee circuit is a known trouble spot for police.

The best areas to live in in Cowra are the streets that are on the border of the town along North Cowra such as London Drive. My friend lives there and she thinks it's the best in the town - friendly neighbours, very little traffic, no domestics etc. Keep in mind though that being such a good area also means you need to pay a good price, meaning properties there are somewhat expensive compared to the rest of Cowra.

Top of Wollowra towards Redfern street are nice homes, nice views. Quiet.
