HOW HOT AND COLD IS IT IN HERVEY BAY

Average summer day in HB is around 30 degrees but can be humid. Average winter day is around 22-23 degrees. We've lived here for 16 years now and have seen climate change. We used to get very wet, humid summers and dry bright winters but these days we tend to get more rain in the winter and less in the summer and it's definitely getting hotter. But having said this, we think HB has the best climate in Australia - generally not too hot, not too cold, not too wet and not too dry.

Hervey Bay enjoys a subtropical climate with hot, wet summers and mild, dry winters. It´s mild, temperate climate makes it a perfect place to holiday year round. The summer months are December, January and February. February is usually the hottest and most humid. Winters are pleasant with daily maximums usually reaching a pleasant 19.4 degrees Celsius (66° Fahrenheit) and a minimum of 11 ºC (52 ° Fahrenheit).
