The east tamar highway starts from the the Launceston CBD right through to the North of the State ending at George Town. 55km's of scenic driving with speed limit ranging between 80km's per hour to 110 km's per hour giving you an express from Launceston to northern suburbs, George Town and the north east coast. Popular locations to live off the east tamar highway are Dilston, Windermere, Swan Bay, Hillwood and Mt Direction. Great drive and recommend to tourists.
