Reviews of Fleming Road, Herston
"Quiet, leafy and close to the city"
Herston is a suburb for those people who are looking for a location close to the city, yet has the appeal of a suburb which is quiet, leafy and green.
I've been living in Herston for over 5 years and find it a lovely suburb to live in. It has lots of amenities within a close distance (shopping, transport, city centre) yet when you arrive in Herston, you feel like you are away from the hussle and bussle.
There are lots of parks in the area, and the occasional game at Ballymore makes for a good night out!

"Perfectly placed street with great local amenities, and all only 2.5k from town!"
Fleming Road is placed parallel to Herston Road and Butterfield Street, and is essentially right between Kelvin Grove Road and Bowen Bridge Road. This means it is well placed for transport in and out of the city, and to all parts of Brisbane, including heading to the Sunshine Coast, western suburbs or onto the Pacific Hwy. The street is nice and quiet, with a range of houses and townhouses. There is a gentle upward slope towards the west, and a view of the lights of the closely placed Ballymore stadium. The other amenities in our area include the biggest public hospital in Qld (RBWH), QUT uni, the UQ medical school, a new shopping and entertainment precinct, walking paths and parks plus sporting facilities, and a day care centre at the end of the street.
