Best place to live in Queensland - with lower humidity

I'm on the Sunshine Coast as well. It has everything from beaches and busy nightlife along the coastline to rainforest retreats and rural living a little inland. Even hinterland areas are still a fairly short drive to the beach. Only 45 minutes to an hour from Brisbane. I think we do sometimes get high humidity during summer (or maybe it's just me), but not like up in Northern Queensland.
I agree with @shelliann. It's a misnomer to suggest that SE Qld has very little humidity. The sea breezes for one tend to cancel out the worst effects of humidity, but there are lots of regions along the D'Aguilar Ranges, for example, and increasingly up in the Darling Downs, that experience very high levels of humidity. I visited Allora in February, and it was unbearably hot and humid. Locals told me that humidity in the area is only a very recent phenomena! Down in the D'Aguilar Ranges right now we are well into autumn (mid-late May), and there has been several days of warm weather (24C) when the humidity has registered quite high on the meter. I don't think anyone living along the coast can make an accurate statement about humidity levels in SE Qld.
BS the humidity is high. Move to Toowoomba for lower humidity.
