Hillcrest Rd is the perfect location for a relaxing with nature. Wake up to the kookaburras and have breakfast with the owls and kangaroos. Quiet and helpful neighbours on well appointed, well maintained blocks with privacy and space. A great community, with fantastic local restaurants, convenient public transport, friendly local retailers and regular community events for entertainment. Mosquitoes can sometimes be annoying in summer, and depending on your location on the street the mobile phone and TV reception is questionable.

Hillcrest Road is essentially a crescent so there's very little traffic, and there's a view of the surrounding hills all along the road. It's a pleasant half hour walk around the block and 20 minutes on foot (5 minutes by car) to the station, shops and restaurants. Most of the blocks are big (1/2 an acre) so it doesn't feel crowded. We have an abundance of bird life, great neighbours and sometimes kangaroos visiting from Temple Ridge Reserve at the top of the road.
