Looking at moving to either Kiama Downs, Wollongong or Shellharbour.
Hi Everyone, Looking at moving to either Kiama Downs, Wollongong or Shellharbour. We have 3 boys, two of them teenagers who like to play a lot of sports.What would be the best area for the boys and for work (my husbands a tradesman and I'm a personal trainer? Another question is how far away from the train track is it ok to live (without noise effecting us)? Thanks heaps...

Hello Slinky13, Kiama Downs is a lovely place to reside, the railway line does run through Kiama Downs and also Kiama however it is not a busy line at all. All my kids play sports which are mostly in Kiama but also in Kiama Downs. My husband is a bricklayer and finds Kiama Downs which is close to the Princes Highway on and off ramp very accessible for his work. Good luck with you research. Ow and Kiama Downs has the best beaches and river to enjoy.
