I found the people I spoke to very friendly. When looking for a new property, I knocked on a few doors in the strett I was interested in and spoke to a number of people. They all had time for me and one couple invited me round the back where I was greeted with a bunch of their friends who offerd me drinks and a BBQ. QLD country towns, gotta love'em.
