The area is traditionally an area of high ethnic diversity, alot of older europeans (turkish, macedonian, bosnian etc..) There is also a strong Vietnamese and Chinese influence. There area generally has a low socio economic status, however this is quickly changing as more and more young people are purchasing houses at much more affordable prices than neighboring suburbs like St Albans, Delehay, Taylors Hill. A great highlight is its very easy to get to the Keilor Plains station.

And a direct answer to your question Im sorry, is that yes the area does have its issues, but this is changing. (Have lived here for last 4 years- owner)
