"Great to live and work locally"
Margate means gateway to the sea, and Margate Parade is right on the beach. Lovely sandy beaches, no surf but fine for families with young kids, and anyone over 40! Good bus services, close to shopping centre and 15 minutes to North Lakes Westfield (or Chermside, whichever you prefer). Only drawback is traffic whcih is slow (40km/hr) but constant on weekends and at school drop-off and pick up. We walk the kids to school, they walk home, along the bach!!. Sure beats the western suburbs of Brisbane!
