Reviews of Moray Street, New Farm
"Beauty and Diversity makes it Interesting"
Hi All, hope you're well. What I love about Moray St is the diversity of architecture, particularly the character apartment buildings like "Casa Del Rio" and "Casa Del Mar". I'm currently compiling a book on "The Character Apartment Buildings of New Farm", so please feel free to contact me if you have any info or stories to share. Karen

Moray is a fantastic street very pretty and close to the waterfront the streets is leafy and oozes street appeal.
"So much more on Moray Street"
I love Moray Street--it's where I live and work. And it's the place where I meet many of my friends and family for coffee and great food; spending time indulging at the Little Larder or the Moray Cafe is what I love to do. It's like having an extended family living, working and playing in Moray Street; there's a real sense of community. People still say hello and stop to have a yarn; it seems there's always time to exchange pleasantries. Without a doubt, New Farm's Moray Street captures the essence of New Farm as a whole--it's my home in the truest sense of the word. BRENDA :)

"It's amore...in Moray!"
Moray Street is great. I've lived in heaps of streets in New Farm, for over ten years, and it's one of my faves.
It's great to be able to walk across the road to a cafe or restaurant that's buzzing with activity on the weekend, and yet, in my apartment, it's nice and quiet. The best of both worlds.

Hey Brian...Little Larder, the Moray Cafe and the fabulous Vine Restaurant around the corner. Enjoy. Brenda :)
"Moray St was Voted best street in Brisbane (year??)"
That's what it says in the street sign on this street - it is central to the Valley (Fortitude Valley - the club/dance/band/funky best place to go out in Brisneyland), it is also very quiet for an inner city suburb (New Farm), close to some great restuarants (Brunswick St), parks, 25 min walk into the city central on the 'floating walkway (you can see it on the google map in the water). I have live in New Farm area for 7 years and Moray St is definitely the best of both worlds.

Heya Timboss, have you found what year the street was voted "best street" yet?
NO! There used to be a sign at the start of the street, but it is now gone - I think it was around the late 90's...must have thought it was a little out of date!
Looks like you were close to the ferry... how long would a ferry ride into the city take?
Best street? ha! so kewl.
Hey Timboss, you got any photos or videos of the area?
No, the sign was removed a while ago & it had it on there - maybe ill check with Brisbane City Council
Is there an echo in here!?
HA! There was an issue with me saving the comments dude -
