"Security concerns ...."
I bought one townhouse "off the plan" from Australand for A$375k a few years ago and made a reasonable gain. The security is a major concern if you've young family. My townhouse was robbed twice and we've decided to move out. Even security alarm did not help and you need to think twice before buying in this block.
