Is North Rocks a growing area?

Are there any plans to upgrade the old Westfields (North Rocks), would be awesome if that got overhauled.

I would say north rocks is nicer than baulkham hills overall. House prices reflect this. They are a bit higher in nrocks. Baulkham hills has more traffic problems, more noise from the m2 and it borders more lower socio economic areas like seven hills. Still, it depends on what area you choose. Baulkham hills is a larger suburb than nth rocks. Different areas have different characters. I would choose areas east of windsor rd.

Westfield nrocks is ok. I wouldnt want them to make it any bigger and bring more traffic into the area. Many people i know come from adjacent suburbs to shop there because its easier to park etc.

It is going to get bigger. Plans are already available on the Hills Shire Council site . Add a comment...

North Rocks prices are set to increase over the coming years as the area continues to expand. It sits in one of the best suburbs in its category, close to very good schools facilities and close to parramatta but still being in the Hills District. While having good efficient transport to the city.

Thank you for the reply. Transport to the city is via M2 buses I presume? Are there any plans your aware of for an upgrade to shopping facilities in the area, in particular the Westfields? Whilst its proximity to Parramatta is better than Baulkham Hills, the area does not look as nice just yet, Im hoping there will be improvements to the area soon as I will be investing shortly in this area.

M2 via the bus or car via pennant hills road. Not sure about the westfeilds, the crime rate for north Rocks is much lower than Baulkham Hills ( they are both pretty low) the best way to look is read the local paper every week.what I can tell you but is The Hills District is a good area and its also good to be close to a CBD and if you look at parramattas recent developments then North Rocks becomes your best bet over capital grow aspects.

Thanks for your insights!
