Reviews of Rainsford Loop, Boulder
"Quiet street in the more upmarket Fairways Estate. Really is a great place to live!"
Despite Boulder traditionally getting a bad wrap from local Kalgoorlie residents the Fairways estate and in particular Rainsford Loop seem to be lightyears away from the issues that surround other parts of Boulder. Having lived here for 3 years my family have enjoyed the proximity to schools (both public and private) with the single stream catholic primary school at the end of the street and the highly regarded O'connor primary or the K-12 baptist college just a short bike ride away. There is a deli just a short walk away for newspaper, bread, milk etc and the local IGA super store is open from 5am til 11pm. The once a month Boulder markets are also a short walk away and the old sweet shop is a favourite treat for my children located in the Boulder shopping precinct on Burt St. The town centre of Kalgoorlie is only 5 minutes away by car for more serious shopping. For excercise and Leisure the Goldfields Oasis Leisure centre which is the only one in Kalgoorlie can be walked to and it includes a 50m indoor swimming pool and kids pool and the new waterslides and flow rider facilities as well as a fully equipped gym, exercise classes and baketball courts and most of the towns other sports, soccer, netball, t-ball etc are played in the fields outside. We very rarely need to leave boulder as everything is right here at our disposal. Our family has felt always felt safe and secure and our children get to play with their school mates who live neary as well. There are also several parks nearby for recreation too. We love living in Rainsford Loop!
