The working week starts with a take away coffee on the way to the station from our favourite barista. Hop on an express train and you’re in the city in 10 minutes.
Work off the weekends excess at one of the many gyms. The Goodlife at Camberwell Place fits all of our fitness needs from cardio to mind and body classes, to weights. For some outdoor exercise we visit some of the varied parks. The Fritsch Holzer Park is a favourite as we interact with the many dogs who madly career around the place chasing balls and enjoying their sudden leashless freedom.
A less strenuous option is to catch a movie at the Rivoli, only minutes from the junction.
We have some great dining choices in Burke and Camberwell Roads. After 15 years there are still new restaurants to discover. New bars with an inner city up market feel are making their mark too.
The Camberwell fresh food market caters to our fresh food needs. There are some tasty treats available from the deli’s, perfect to top off that dinner party.
I can’t finish my talk about the junction until I mention the famous bohemian Sunday Market, complete with street buskers and an eclectic mix of treasures that you had no idea you wanted or needed until you discover them!
