I am worried about noise on Princes Highway near Rockdale Station...is it bad?

Aircraft noise is a temporary problem while they are repairing the main north-south runway at the airport.
Maybe Ill expand - even outside of the runway repair period , there are some planes on the east/west runway on weekend mornings - not sure why , I assume when the main north/south runway is at capacity in these peak travel times.
Road traffic noise is ok once a block away from the Highway or Bay Street.

Hi there, I would worry about the airplane noise as i have been in Rockdale since Jan 2007 and haven't had that issue. I guess it's because we are not directly under the fly path. It would be an issue for suburbs like Sydenham.
In terms of apartments on Princes Hwy (which is where i am living now and been here since Feb this year), i am actually ok overall.
There are stupid people making noises when they drove past late at night, but not on a constant basis.
