"Great housing pockets of old Queenslanders"
Woolloongabba is cut up by the south east freeway and Ipswich road, to provide a number of discrete housing pockets. High density living down near the gabba stadium, and lovely quiet leafy green streets of Queenslanders in other areas. Good public transport, great access to the southeast freeway (you can be down in surfers in 50 minutes) and the CLEM 7. Higher house prices keep the number of rentals in certain pockets down. Great multicultural markets/wholesalers in Balaclava Street. Upmarket restaurants and antique shops are springing up everywhere down on logan road 5 ways.

"Inner city living at it's best"
Woollongabba, known for its iconic cricket ground "The Gabba", is located only a kilometre from the CBD. At a closer look, the suburb holds a primary school, a hospital and two train stations, four bus stations and great shopping facilities with easy access to the Clem 7. Undergoing rapid gentrification, Woolloongabba is a great place to invest or reside with the Buranda locality given a new life as part of the Eastern Corridor Renewal Strategy.

"Southbank is full of life!"
Southbank is a vibrant suburb in the inner city region of Brisbane. Recently i went there for the River Fire festival which is held once a year. This suburb with close proximity to local entertainment and city buzz is a fantastic multi cultural environment for all to joy!
Cant wait till next years River Fire festival where the city comes a light !
"Riverside living - an excellent spot for families and students"
South Brisbane is one of Brisbane's popular suburbs, located just across the river from the CBD. Famous for the South Bank Parklands, it is a busy area but also popular with the locals due to the balmy riverside location with a great selection of restaurants and cafes.
South Brisbane is also an education hub, as it is home to some excellent secondary and tertiary educational institutions. There are some large corporates based here, so employment options abound. It is also a cultural area with a number of museums and libraries.
Accessing the CBD is easy - with frequent buses, ferries and trains.

"Has South Brisbane undergone modernisation, or what!!"
It used to be the pretty dingy side of town. Not very much too flash about it but it all changed all those years ago when Expo came to town. From that time on South Brisbane has continued to redevelop and incorporate new and exciting things to bring this area into modern times.
There are stunning buildings, especially in association with the Art Centre, large conference facilities, a man made beach at adjacent South Bank, lovely park area, outdoor dining and so much more. It is a place where you could easily spend the day looking around and enjoying what is on offer. There is something for all ages, races and interests.
When you go here, make sure you have the time to enjoy what is on offer.
From a commercial point of view, new buildings have been replacing the old.
South Brisbane and the adjacent West End and South Bank have tended to cater especially to the arty folk. There is much on offer for those with a strong interest in the arts. It tends to be an area where people with these interests are living and congregating.
