What's the commute like from Springwood to the CBD in the morning during weekdays ?

Its nowhere near Sydney & Melbourne.
You can spend up to an hour to get to the CBD even if you left at the highest of the peak times, which is 8am, provided there are no accidents.

What makes Springwood appealing is that its situated on the highway so pretty much chuck a right, and ur there.

It will vary, you might get held up around the Logan Rd exit at Mt Gravatt, otherwise it backs up most days near the Stanley Street exit. Maybe 30-40 minutes most days.
