Reviews of Coombabah, QLD
"Doggy"
It is big suburb. Some parts are ok some note. Prices for houses are cheaper for reason...
"Community and lifestyle"
Great suburb, particularly Menindee avenue. Wide streets with no powerlines. Friendly neighbourhood and flat blocks which is ideal for young families and retirees. Lots of cafes and playgrounds around yet also a few minutes drive from popular spots like Paradise point, Runaway Bay and Harbour Town.
Plenty of reputable daycare and school options around the corner and a fantastic community feel!

"Great family suburb"
I'm at the northern end of Coombabah and we've been here for four years in our first home. Our area is full of families and retirees and pretty quiet overall, except for parties every now and again in our usually quiet street. I love it here, there are so many beautiful walks and parks and playgrounds around. Love walking along the river or picnicking nearby. Close to all shops and amenities. Two slight negatives the midges in summer and the off odour we get during summer from leaf litter in the reserve. But the reserve gives us beautiful places to walk such as along the boardwalk and in the bush itself so it comes with the being close to nature part of living in suburbia. Which I love.

"Great place for all ages"
With numerous parks and walkways all age groups can enjoy everything Coombabah has to offer.
Sharing the same waterfront as Paradise Point properties but still very affordable for all and with numerous childcare and security gated complexes it is safe for everyone.

I agree it is in a great possition & close to all the essentials and we love the parks. However there is bad with the good & my expirence is a little different from above as my property pools/floods when it rains. Im also having trouble getting used to the smell of the lakelands of an early morning and evening when the air is still. I also am in the middle of two State housing propertys and I can assure you its not quiet where I am. However we have friends in the same street who have great neighbous & have spent a bit of money on drainage and are quite happy with the street.
