Looking for a home in Miami?

"Beautiful beaches, centrally located & family friendly!"

Experience a lifestyle that is far from ordinary in the gorgeous beachside suburb.

It's a great fun and friendly atmosphere in Miami, and everyone is just out and about enjoying the sunshine. One of the best features of Miami is the walking track directly along the beach, where on any given day you will find fitness buffs, walkers, joggers, cyclists and mums and bubs alike. This track extends all the way from the beginning of northern end of Marine Parade to Nobby Beach Headland at the south.

Beachside of the Gold Coast Highway you will find great restaurants and cafes, particularly Piccolo's cafe at Miami Beach Surf Club, where you can enjoy a coffee followed by a swim at the patrolled beach directly across the road.

On the western side of the highway, you will find a family friendly atmosphere, with plenty of schools, parks, and a shopping centre at 'Miami One'.

Particularly the western side of the highway is quite affordable and you can often find a good quality family home at a reasonable price.

Miami has everything, and it's no wonder it is one of the most sought after suburbs on the Coast.

Great for

  • Beaches & cycling tracks
  • Piccolos cafe at Miami Surf Club
  • Plenty of parks & family friendly fun

"Close to everything"

Miami is a conveniently located beachfront suburb of the Central Gold Coast. Minutes drive to famous Burleigh Heads beach, local shopping and more!

"Miami is the REAL paradise on the Gold Coast!"

I recently moved to the Gold Coast and I can't recommend Miami highly enough.

On most evenings it's so quiet that I can leave my back door open and hear the ocean, but it only takes 10-15 minutes to drive to the bustling heart of Surfer's Paradise. Even though it's closer to the airport that the northern suburbs I never hear any air traffic. As a young woman I'm usually super paranoid about my safety but I feel completely at ease walking to the shopping complex at night alone, I've never had reason to believe anything untoward is happening in the streets around my house.

The two shopping complexes I visit have pretty much anything you could need in terms of groceries and cafes, and a few other conveniences like a post office at Miami One and a surgery down at the smaller shops on Dawn Pde. Miami's also really close to Burleigh Stocklands (I LOVE Burleigh Stocklands!), Robina town centre, and Pacific Fair (take Sunshine boulevard, avoid the traffic on the GCH).

The beach itself tends to be a bit quiet (and always colder than Burleigh!), it's always patrolled but there's hardly ever anyone there swimming or surfing. But, up over the knoll into North Burleigh things pick up, with the Miami Tavern and the surf club and it's quite an achievable stroll to the National Park if nature's your thing. Miami pretty much has the benefits of living in Burleigh heads without the price tag.

There's a really big sporting complex and a golf course which I hear is quite good, and a few parks and things to check out. Miami is quite cool in that it feels like it's on the outskirts of suburbia when really it's very close to the centre of a major city.

I don't see many young kids on any of the streets near me, I think it's mostly older couples, childless families, and young people sharing houses like me. But, my street is mostly duplexes and when I walk around the more inland streets of Miami there are older traditional style houses which look like they would be more suited to families with kids.

Really theres only two critisisms I could fairly give this suburb. One thing is that cars tend to travel up my 60km/hr street at about 80kms. It's a flat suburb with straight, parallel streets so I think people must think it's okay to speed; and on street parking is a major drama in some of the streets, watch for that if you're thinking of renting a house with no carport/garage. Such a trivial thing I know! The second thing is that it's SUCH a pain to get from Miami to the M1, so if you're having guests it's hard to explain how to get to the suburb unless they come on the Gold Coast Hwy. Youre kinda stuck between four M1 exits/entries which are all ridiculously out of the way.

Everything else in Miami is amazing, if I had the money I would definately be buying here rather than renting.

"Magical Miami"

What a beautiful place to live, work and play! Miami is fastly developing into the place to buy or invest with it's great capital growth. Miami has become a renovators delight with a great mix of homes on offer ranging from units, penthouses, duplexes to houses to purchase and transform into 'like brand new' and reap the rewards.

With beautiful golden beaches on offer, great restaurants and boutique shopping minutes in either direction and in the heart of Miami is "Miami One" a uniquely designed urban village with a cosmopolitan shopping precinct offering first class architectually designed residential living with everything below you could need at your fingertips and only 120 metres from North Burleigh beach and public transport in Miami is fabulous making it ideal for all age groups and families. The schools in the area are very well respected and located in the heart of Miami making it easy for the kids to walk or ride to school.

Being a local resident of Miami as well as working in the area I cant recommend it highly enough for your next destination to settle and make a new lifestyle for yourself. If you are considering moving to the area and need any assistance with your real estate needs please feel free to contact me, Lockie Fogarty at anytime on 0433 257 971.

"Cheap knock down homes for FHOB!"

If i were a FHOB (First Home Owner Buyer) i know where i would buy with my money. Purchase an old beach shack priced between $400,000-500,000 of which is located not far from the beach (for example 400-600 metres) take advantage of $14,000 home owners grant and FULL STAMP DUTY exemption which is a big plus!

Its about buying the cheapest house in the best suburb in years to come Miami with its close proximity to the beach is sure to experience good capital growth and yield good rental returns for investors trying to buy properties that are close to being neutrally geared.

Remember LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!
