"Fantastic place to grow up"
After living in Ulverstone for over 12 years, I found this part of Tasmania to be fantastic. Great place to grow up with in walking distance to beaches, parks, town centre. Generally a quiet town with a great atmosphere amongst families in the area. Schooling was great and I would not hesitate to raise a family here........

"Jewel in the coastal crown"
A picturesque, friendly town with more to it than first meets the eye. A little bit of investigation will uncover many aspects which provide virtually every thing you could need or want. Be prepared to be surprised, you'll soon realise a good number of venues for wining & dining, sports, leisure & recreation. Ulverstone is a quietly private, but "go ahead" town which will be hard to hide from the rest of the world in the next few years. From this beautiful town you can access and explore all of this idealic island state, then return home to relax in its peace and quiet. Ulverstone is one of those good places to raise a family. We visited with our young family, and have been here for ten years.

"Ulverstone"
Excellent growth over the last 5 years - fresh air, clean water - a great relaxing place - close to Devonport and Burnie - high demand for rentals - a tick in all the right boxes!! A hop, skip and jump to the mainland - sshhh - keep it quiet!

Ulverstone has a pretty river mouth. But I found it a very noisy town with all the roads, cars, highway and tooting train all night. It is very built up. I realise the rural hinterland is valuable arable land and should not be built on. However the railway line and main roads were poorly placed. It is not serene!
