"Tranquil and friendly village"
Quiet and friendly village with a picturesque beach. Most properties are just a few minutes walk from a tranquil beach which has estuaries at each end. Great for walking, fishing, boating and kayaking. While there are visitors in holiday periods it nevers feels over-run.
The amenities of Hervey Bay are just a 15 minute drive away and if a trip to the big smoke is required Maroochydore is just a couple of hours away. Hervey Bay offers plenty of activities ranging from annual festivals to social and community groups.
Moved here 2 years ago from a capital city and have not regreted it at all.
The only downside is lack of employment opportunities. Not the place for people who like the hustle and bustle of the city.
