Need advice for a disabled child

We're thinking of moving to Tamworth but have never visited the area. My youngest child is disabled with special needs and therefore needs a placement in a special needs school (as opposed to a support class in a mainstream school) as well as medical supervision such as paediatrician, heart specialist, bowel/gastro specialist, physio and OT , opthalmology, and specialist dental care. Can anybody tell me what the facilities etc are like for disabled children in the Tamworth region? Thank you

I'm not really too sure, but personally we went to Peel health for a lot of stuff which is in northern Tamworth. School wise? I'm going to be honest, it's a struggle to deal with. We all went to Peel high (Westdale) but it's not the best school. Pretty good, but not the best. The only advice I have for ANYBODY with special needs kids here is this; DO NOT ENROLL SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN INTO TAMWORTH PUBLIC SCHOOL! My brother went there and they were VERY unwelcoming and unaccommodating for his needs! It was a struggle to communicate with teachers at the school. Tamworth south public is pretty good support wise, but mainstream classes have some bullying issues atleast when I went there. They did NOTHING to stop the bullying I faced, but they're a good school otherwise (I also had special needs - hence the bullying - but I didn't need as much support as others, so I never got into a support class.) I'm sorry if this wasn't that useful, it's been a while since I lived there.
