Local Feedback Kinross Estate

This is an area of Thornlands with narrow streets and closely-packed houses. You will find yourself weaving between parked cars and trailers to and from work everyday. Noise from neighbours is unending and you will soon tire of the drone of air-conditioners.
Check out older designer suburbs to see what they look like after a few years when the greenery has been neglected and the neighbours’ new second car won’t fit in the one-car garage.
If this is the sort of house you want to live in, pick a suburb in Brisbane instead as it will have better resale value and suburbs like this are found everywhere and the houses will be just as cheap (and cheaply-built) but in a better city.
We've lived in Kinross estate for 6 years now and love it.
It's a nice private area with lots of parks, nice walks and good community.
And because it's on top of a hill there's no midgees or mozzies and there's always a good breeze in summer.
I disagree. I've lived on 900m blocks and the noise is no different. If anything, it's less noisy in our new house in Kinross because new houses have better insulation. Also, both our neighbours have aircon and I never hear them. And the resale value is doing really well in our area.
