Ramsgate Beach is located 16 kilometres south of the Sydney City.
The staff at Rockdale Council take great pride in maintaining the prominent landscaping in Ramsgate beach and further improving landscaping and footways along the foreshore.
We are seeing more buyers coming from the eastern suburbs making Ramgsate Beach their new home suburb due to the attraction of the area, convenience to the city, Beaches, outdoor cafes, and European cosmopolitan living.
Ramsgate Beach is a great place to invest, for first home buyers, families, retirees, professionals and singles, who would rather live in a beach side suburb close to the city, with good opportunity for future capital growth, more so to just move in the area and to start to enjoy Bay Side Living, just as I do.

"Good opportunity to get a foothold in the area"
Rocky Point Road although busy, creates an opportuntiy to buy value property if you are looking to live in the Sans Souci area.
Good buying opportunity is right along the stretch of Rocky Point Road particularly next to Captain Cook bridge where the apartment blocks are located and you should well find some good buying if you are looking to live close to the water and amongst parklands whilst wanting to keep some spare money in your back pocket.

"A perfect place to live"
Having recently moved in this area Sans Souci, Sandringham and Dolls Point are 17 km south of the Sydney’s CBD and close to all express ways such as the M5 and the eastern distributor.
You will find some of the best eateries and just great living in this bay side area and Sans Souci is generally referred to as The Peninsula. Ramsgate Beach Shopping Village atmosphere is a great place for a coffee stop over lunch and dinner.
Great for retirees, families, couples which also attract buyers from the eastern suburbs.
Overall I rate Sans Souci a 10/10 + because San Souci is one of the most sought after suburbs commanding high prices in specific streets and since 1993 gained 15% annual capital growth with new sales record regularly being achieved for this area.

"Relaxing, quiet, parkland and beaches"
Where else can you find apartment living next to a bay close to the city. A very quiet suburb and still good opportunity when it comes to apartment living.
Dolls Point + Quiet and leafy. + parks+ beach + sand+ walks+ bike tracks + clubs + cafes = Lifestyle living.
The local Dolls Point Shopping village offers everyday essentials including the local cafes with Steve's Cafe next to Le Beach Hut Restaurant in the park on Russell avenue, also the 16 feet Georges River Sailing Club.
Brighton le Sands, Monterey, Sans Souci, Dolls Point, Sandringham are suburbs located on the bay where most people like to live and prepared to pay the price to gain a foothold in the area. Population increases, population shift such as people now coming from the eastern suburbs finding the St George area a wonderful place and more affordable and investors are pushing prices upwards.
So all said and done, Dolls Point is gaining strong demand from buyers due the beach, the parks, shops and transport.

The bus Route 476 runs a daily full time service between Sans Souci,

Now the prices have gone up so far the "wrong" types are moving to Dolls Point - they are unfriendly and very snobby - sad as it used to be a nice area now just full of rich gangsta types in giant SUVs

Highly sort after, Monterey is home to many families that love the wide streets and quiet surrounds.
Both younger families and professional coules are moving into Monterey due to the closeness of the city, peninsular and the quiet.
Monterey is a suburb in southern Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Monterey is located 15km south of the Sydney central business district and is part of the St George area. Monterey is in the local government area of the City of Rockdale.
Monterey sits on the western shores of Botany Bay. Lady Robinson Beach and Cook Park run along the eastern border. Scarborough Park, which features a pond, runs along the western border. The suburb is mostly residential with a small group of shops on Chuter Avenue, near the intersection of Scarborough Street.

"Sandringham is Living at its finest 10/10 +++++"
Having recently moved into this beautiful Bay Side suburb, I find Sandringham offers sensational lifestyle for families, for retirees and for everyone who wants to live in a suburb that offers village shopping, parks, beaches where you just feel like you are on holidays year round, yet you hop on the eastern distributor and straight into the city.
From the bike tracks to the bay side walks, to the cafes and local restaurants including, Le Beach Hut Restaurant on the park and Steve's Cafe on the park in Russell avenue, Sandringham is the ideal paradise whilst close to all ameinities.
Sandringham Just ticks all the right boxes.
Boasting approximately 15% growth since 1992 Sandringham is a tightly held suburb with buyers paying a premium to gain a foothold into this suburb with just recent a 4 bedroom duplex sold for 1.373 million dollars in the area.
Great beaches and fantastic fishing off the beach and if you are into boating , cruise to La Perouse for coffee, fish and chips, cruise to Como Marina at the cafe and have a great lunch, then up to Picnic Point, or if you like to endulge then Lugarno Seafood restaurant. Dock your boat and enjoy. Just some great places that also surround Sandringham if like me, you are also a boatie.

Mixed with apartment blocks and houses, this street leads to the beach and Georges River Sailing club.
Nice street and a great spot to secure one of the apartments if you can as this is the best street for apartment living in the area as it is uncluttered, quiet and has the bay and club just here opposite the park.

Close to all amenities and buses and soon a new shopping and office development one block away on Russell and Rocky Point Road, will enhance the shopping experience. Poplar street still offers opportunity buying with modest homes and a major plus is it is a no through acces to vehicles.

Tree lined, Beautiful quality homes, a pleasant outlook and feel. A short walk to St George Motor boat Club.
Plimsol Street has a huge apeal and attracts top dollar for people wanting to move into this marvelous tree lined street.

Napoleon Street is a nice street and we are seeing more quality new housing being built consisting of new duplexes due to larger parcels of land.
Take a trip along Napoleon Street ad all streets lead to Rome, meaning the beach and Cook Park.

This place is just brilliant. its own shopping centre strip with landscaped precinct. There is value buying in this bay side suburb with property being snapped up quickly and attracting many peole moving here from the Eastern suburbs and also great for families starting out, including investors seeing the longer term potential. Green and leafy, Beverley Park is one of the top suburbs to live in the St George Area.
Centrally located near Kogarah Station, bus routes with St George Leagues Club, Golf Course, Beverley Park is a great place to move to for families just wanting to own a piece of a beautiful and quiet place to live.

Sans souci has been my home for more than 15 years i would'nt live any where else. We also have the best Organic Food Markets at Ramsgate Public School every Saturday. Great cafes and walking distance to the beautiful bay and beaches.
