Hi Dani,
I'm a local Agent here in Mackay and I find the best suburbs to live in for fishing is Bucasia, Eimeo, North Mackay, Mackay Harbour, Seaforth and Ball Bay. These all have boat ramps direct to the Ocean except for North Mackay, that boat ramp takes you straight to our gorgeous Pioneer River. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you are looking at purchasing as I currently have listings in these areas.
