"quiet suburban life away from the full hustle & bustle of Gold Coast tourist zones but close enough to it all"
Only minutes from some of the most beautiful beaches on the Gold Coast and excellent community leisure/outdoor facilities along the banks of the Currumbin Creek.
Also close to quality shopping, dining, clubs like the famous Currumbin RSL, excellent schools and medical facilities.
This is a great place to live or visit, its quiet with a great community spirit.

"A great place centralised on the Gold Coast"
After moving to the Gold Coast over 15 years ago, I nestled down in quiet Elanora 11 years ago.
It is safe and a friendly place to raise a family.
For those seeking a quieter way of life, this is the place to be. If you like the fast paced lifestyle, Surfers Paradise and Coolangatta are both only 15 minutes drive away.
Strongly recommend Elanora as a destination to call home.

"The prettiest suburb on the southern coast"
We moved to Elanora from Sydney 26 years ago and we love the organic food store down the road and our farmers markets every Saturday. We lived in Avalon in Sydney and Currumbin beach is so much safer for children and families to swim and surf.
We bought acreage in Elanora to build a home. Acreage so close to the beach is pretty unique and we really appreciate the wilderness so close. We have koalas, wallabies, echidnas and goannas visiting our property as well as the possum who lives in the flowerpot on our verandah.
The children didn't have to leave home to go to university with three local campuses to choose from and we have public and private hospitals 20 minutes away.
Now that Varsity railway station is so close we can jump on the train and be in Brisbane in an hour to enjoy art and culture at the wonderful Southbank. The Gold Coast Arts Centre is also going from strength to strength with new and interesting exhibitions coming on regularly.

"Green, beautiful and close enough to the beach!"
A great place to live if you enjoy the beach and don't particularly want to be in the flight path!!!

"Suits Everyone...."
Elanora is very family oriented. Schools and public transport are fabulous. Lots of parks and ovals. Everything is easy to find and not far to walk or drive to. Whether your single or married with children Elanora seems to offer the best of all worlds to people. It's centrally located on the Gold Coast bang smack in the middle so easy to drive to either Surfers or Coolangatta.

"green and gold"
Elanora is a great suburb.Surrounded by bush and the countryside, it's 5 minutes to the beaches,2 shopping malls, primary (in the countryside) and secondary schools, and 15 mins to the airport. Our street is in Lakewoods at the end of 19th Ave.We've just sold after 12 happy years of bringing up our kids in such a nice friendly neighbourhood.A mixture of young families and older couples and everyone always says hello and often stop to chat. Our street is a classic culdesac and is surrounded by bushland and park, with only local traffic passing through it is very quiet...no hoons here! We've outgrown our place and being kiwis are homesick for NZ so are heading back, but would highly recommend this part of the world to bring up your family or retire...after NZ it's the best place in the world (couldn't resist a dig!)....our boys love it so much they're staying (and getting their Aussie citizenship!! ) So, see you later Elanora and the Gold Coast....we'll be back for our holidays! xx

"A great suburb for families with fantastic parks and schools, close to the beaches and shopping."
Elanora is very underrated, with its diverse property types ranging from your three bed family home to a large acreage, a lot of the homes have fantastic views of either the hinterland, mountains or ocean. As well as canal and lake front homes, what more could you want? Very leafy, lots of parks for the kids and the four legged friends, we totally recommend our lovely suburb.

"Beachy and Stylin'"
Currumbin Waters is such a great place to spend the day with the kids or lounge around with a lover on the sand. The beach itself has both surfside action and protected, shark proofed (as shark proofed as it can be) estuary lagoon for calm and peaceful swimming. The streets are lined with trees and there's and showers in abundance. The other side to the area are the cool little lifestyle shops you can find tucked away next to the local chip shop. 'Would you like a $400 photo frame with that Peter's drumstick Miss?" Not quite, but it's a lovely little mix that leaves you feeling like Currumbin Waters has the best of all worlds.
